The Dublin-based start-up is the only European company featured in this year’s cohort for the US Venture Sustainability Accelerator.

Irish SaaS start-up Electric Vehicle Ecosystem (EVE) has been selected for this year’s US Venture Sustainability Accelerator.

The Dublin-based company – which is the only European start-up chosen for the accelerator’s 2025 cohort – has developed a cloud-based software platform that helps industrial fleet operators transition to and manage electric vehicles through simulation, operational optimisation and real-time insights such as emissions tracking.

The US Venture Sustainability Accelerator is a joint initiative between global venture capital firm Gener8tor and energy and mobility company US Venture that supports five high-potential start-ups each year that are tackling challenges in sustainability, energy and mobility.

Also taking part this year is tire recycling tech start-up Arduro; EV charging company ElectricFish; charging infrastructure start-up Emobi; and battery tech start-up Flux XII.

As part of the accelerator – which is in its third year – EVE will receive $100,000 in funding to support its entry into the US market and will have access to hands-on support, mentorship and strategic partnership opportunities with US Venture.

“This is an incredibly exciting moment for us,” said Sarah-Marie Rust, founder and CEO of EVE. “EVE was built with a global mindset from day one, and our ambition has always been to bring our learnings from Europe to the US market. Fleets in the US are larger, more complex and face unique electrification challenges.

“This programme gives us the perfect landing pad to start deploying our platform in the US.”

The start-up, which was founded 2020, plans to begin trials with US-based fleets this quarter and is preparing to open a permanent US office by the end of the year.

Since its establishment, the start-up has hit numerous milestones. In 2023, EVE was declared a regional winner of the Dublin Best Early-Stage category at the InterTradeIreland Seedcorn Investor Readiness Competition, while last year the company completed Bord na Móna’s 2024 Accelerate Green Start programme.

According to the start-up, it’s currently on track to help decarbonise 1m vehicles by 2030, a goal that would cut 15m metric tons of CO2 annually.

Recently, the start-up was included in We Make Change’s list of top 100 sustainability start-ups to watch in 2025, while Rust was recently included in the 2025 edition of Forbes’ 30 under 30 Social Impact list for Europe.
